The real problem is that to do a simple dissolve, SR must read two frames
off the PVR, perform the blend, then write the result back to the PVR.
The reading and writing of the frames is the bottleneck, the blend is
quite fast. With the accelerator, the frames will not have to be read and
written to and from the PVR across the PCI bus.
